What is Survive Stroke Week?

Survive Stroke Week is not just a week.
It’s an ongoing dialogue elevating how you and loved ones can survive–and recover from–strokes or stroke symptoms.

Did you know? Stroke is the fourth leading cause of death among Hispanic men and the third leading cause for Hispanic women in the United States. Yet only 58% of Hispanic adults can recognize stroke symptoms.

Given nearly two million brain cells die every minute a stroke goes untreated, join us in raising awareness within the Hispanic community this Survive Stroke Week (May 4 – 10, 2025).

Stay tuned for resources in English and Spanish!
